I’m originally from São Paulo, Brazil, and I’ve been living in Ireland for 9 years. I hold a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with specialisation in Sports Training. I’m a mum of two, so I know firsthand what it means to have a completely full life and still try to make training happen. I get it. Not as a talking point. As a lived reality.
Why I’m different
Before moving to Ireland, I spent 5 years working as a Personal Trainer inside a sports performance clinic in Brazil, alongside doctors, physiotherapists, nutritionists, and psychologists. That experience changed how I see people forever. A person is never just a body that needs to move more. They are a single unit, physical, mental, nutritional, emotional. Everything is connected.
On one side: marathoners, triathletes, and half-marathoners, my job was to help them improve their times, build the strength their sport demanded, and keep them injury-free. On the other side: people coming back from knee injuries, hip pain, and chronic back pain that had been ignored for years, working hand in hand with the medical team around them until movement stopped being something they feared and became something they owned.
